Match Prediction – AS vs HH, 35th Match BBL 2021/22 – Who Will Win Today’s Match?
Hobart Hurricanes take on Adelaide Strikers in match number 35 of this Big Bash League (BBL) 2021-22. The Adelaide Oval will be the venue for this game.
Hobart Hurricanes didn’t have the best of starts. They lost three out of their first four games and seemed a touch lost. However, they have managed to bounce back strongly. The ‘Men in Purple’ won three games on the trot. They did lose their last game against Brisbane Heat by 14 runs but they seem to be back on track. The Matthew Wade-led side are currently fourth on the points table with 17 points.
On the other hand, Adelaide Strikers have had a wretched run this season. The Peter Siddle-led side are on a six-match losing streak and overall, they’ve lost seven out of their eight games so far. They are reeling at the bottom of the points table. Moreover, they now need to win every game from hereon to stand a chance of making it to the knockouts.
As far as the head to head record is concerned, Adelaide Strikers have won nine while Hobart Hurricanes have won seven.

Who will win today’s match Adelaide Strikers vs Hobart Hurricanes, 35
th
Match BBL 2021/22??
Adelaide Strikers don’t seem to have got any sort of rhythm or consistency throughout this tournament. With the bat, the big scores just haven’t come. The entire Adelaide Strikers batting line-up has combined to record a mere four individual half-centuries. Matt Renshaw, Jon Wells and Matthew Short have got starts and pretty consistent ones too but none of them have really taken their form to the next level. As far as the bowling is concerned, Rashid Khan and skipper Peter Siddle have led the charge. The latter has been expensive but Rashid has been superb.
On the other hand, Hobart Hurricanes’ batting has relied on the top-order. Matthew Wade’s form has dipped a bit but Ben McDermott has been in amazing touch and has almost single-handedly carried the Hobart Hurricanes batting line-up. D’Arcy Short has chipped in with starts. It is the bowling that has fared really well. Tom Rogers, Nathan Ellis and Riley Meredith have led the charge and have been amongst the wickets.
Hobart Hurricanes seem to have a more rounded side and they are in form as well. Thus, they will start this game as favourites.
