Match Prediction – CSK vs DC, 55th Match IPL 2022 – Who Will Win Today’s Match?
Delhi Capitals (DC) will lock horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 55th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The Capitals have done well to win their last two matches and with their key players returning just in time, the team is looking stronger than ever. Meanwhile, their opponents, CSK, are more or less out of the playoffs race after their loss to RCB in the previous game.
The MS Dhoni-led side has won only three out of 10 matches and should emerge victorious in all four matches to have any chance of making it to the top four. The side hasn’t been consistent by any means in all departments this season and that has reflected in their results. Their bowling has gained momentum late in the tournament and a lot depends on them if CSK has to come out triumphant in this encounter.
The batting as well has struggled to some extent. However, the opening pair is coming to terms finally in the last two outings. Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad have added 182 and 54 runs in the last two matches providing good starts to the team. But CSK have found their perfect opening pair a little too late.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are certainly in a position to gain an upper hand in the playoffs race now. They can still reach 18 points and with good NRR to show, the team just needs to win their remaining games. Last two games have been near perfect for them too with batting and bowling both clicking nicely.
David Warner has continued to plunder runs and remains key while Anrich Nortje returning has also bolstered their pace attack. Rishabh Pant hasn’t converted his starts this season and that remains their only worry. However, with the team doing well, the skipper is also expected to make amends soon.
Head-to-head record

Who will win today’s match – Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Capitals, 55th Match IPL 2022?
Delhi Capitals are certainly the favourites to win this game given that the momentum is with them at the moment. They have won the last two matches and are peaking at the right time.
CSK haven’t been consistent at all this season and that might play a role in DC getting the better of them. Having said that, the Pant-led side should take them lightly at their peril. Check out more details on

Game changers for Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Capitals, 55th Match IPL 2022
Rovman Powell has been backed by DC and the man is repaying the faith just at the right time. His 35-ball 67* in the previous game helped them post a total in excess of 200. Moreover, CSK have struggled with their death bowling this season which will bring Powell into the limelight who loves to deal only in sixes at the fag end of the innings.
Ravindra Jadeja has completely struggled in this season. Neither with the bat nor with the ball he has made an impact. However, these remaining four matches provide him an opportunity to regain his lost touch. An in-form Jadeja certainly sends dangerous signals to the opposition.
Who will be the best match bowler?
Kuldeep Yadav has been simply brilliant this season. His left-arm wrist spin bowling has kept the batters in check and the lad has accounted for 18 wickets in 10 matches that are the second best in the list of most wickettakers. With CSK batters not much comfortable against spin, especially in the middle overs, Kuldeep could be the best bowler in the match.
Who will win today’s man of the match?
Rovman Powell’s batting has given a lifeline to DC this season. He has been finishing the innings on a high for the franchise and clearly, can make a larger impact against the Men in Yellow. Coming out to bat at five, the Caribbean can make a mockery of CSK’s not so threatening bowling attack, especially in the last five overs.
Who will be the best batsman for Chennai Super Kings?
Ruturaj Gaikwad has found his lost touch now and CSK’s bet to come good in this game will be at the top of the order. If Ruturaj clicks, they look a much better side and no wonder, all eyes will be on him to deliver yet again.
Who will be the best batsman for Delhi Capitals?
David Warner’s 92 played a huge role in setting a platform for Powell in the last game. Warner has scored 356 runs so far opening the innings in IPL 2022. He is known to notch up big scores consistently which makes him a prime contender to become the top run-scorer for DC in this game as well.
