Match Prediction – KKR vs DC, 19th Match IPL 2022 – Who Will Win Today’s Match?
Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Delhi Capitals in the 19
th
match of IPL 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Kolkata Knight Riders are currently on top of the IPL 2022 table with three wins from four matches. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals are languishing in seventh place after losing two of their first three matches.
Kolkata Knight Riders have been in great form in IPL 2022 and have had a strong campaign so far. They’ve registered wins against Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, and Mumbai Indians and lead the IPL 2022 table with six points. They also have a terrific net run rate of +1.102 which is only bettered by Rajasthan Royals.
KKR were up against the most successful IPL franchise Mumbai Indians in their latest encounter. Despite having a lopsided head-to-head record against MI, KKR bowlers showed their class and restricted MI to a score of 161/4, with the bulk of the runs coming in the final over bowled by Pat Cummins.
The Australian Test captain, however, made amends for it and notched up the joint-fastest fifty in IPL history in 14 balls. He remained not out on 56 from 15 with his innings including four fours and six sixes as he single-handedly took KKR past the finishing line with four overs left and with five wickets in hand. That win will boost their morale going into this clash.
Delhi Capitals began their IPL 2022 season with an impressive last-gasp win over Mumbai Indians. Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel secured the victory in sensational fashion for the side. However, they were unable to sustain the momentum going and lost their following matches against new entrants Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants.
In their most recent match against LSG, DC suffered a six-wicket loss. Although Prithvi Shaw gave them a solid start in the powerplay, the side couldn’t capitalize on it and captain Rishabh Pant and Sarfaraz Khan were guilty of taking things too slow as DC finished with a score of 149/3. Quinton de Kock powered the LSG run-chase with his 80 off 52 while Ayush Badoni added the finishing touch once again as they won by six wickets in the final over.
DC are seventh in the table with two points. They have a net run rate of -0.116 so far.
The two sides have played 29 matches against each other in which KKR have won 16 games. DC have 12 wins to their name. KKR have also won the last five matches against DC.

Who will win today’s match – Kolkata Knight Riders vs Delhi Capitals, 19
th
Match IPL 2022?
Kolkata Knight Riders have been on a roll this season and they’ve seen some top-class performances from Umesh Yadav, Andre Russell and Pat Cummins. The side will be hoping that some of the other team members who haven’t contributed so far also take responsibility in this game. They will be the favourites to pick up a win here.
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals will need to go back to the drawing board and assess things. The approach from the middle-order looked pedestrian in the last match and the pyrotechnics that are expected to come off Rishabh Pant’s bat have slowed down.
It’s neck to neck between KKR and DC. Check out

Game changers for Kolkata Knight Riders vs Delhi Capitals, 19
th
Match IPL 2022
For Kolkata Knight Riders all eyes will be on their star players Andre Russell and Pat Cummins who have played a couple of breath-taking innings lately. Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy, and Umesh Yadav have also done a terrific job with the ball while the team will be expecting more from captain Shreyas Iyer.
Delhi Capitals will depend heavily on captain Rishabh Pant once again but his cautious approach has come into question. Prithvi Shaw will be expecting more support from his partner David Warner at the top while Anrich Nortje will be hoping to get back to his best with the ball in hand.
Who will be the best match bowler?
Umesh Yadav has been the best bowler in IPL 2022 so far. He has been a menace in the powerplay and has regularly picked up wickets in the first few overs. The veteran bowler has scalped nine wickets from four matches at an average of 9.33 and has an outstanding economy rate of 5.25.
Who will win today’s man of the match?
Andre Russell, Umesh Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, and Pat Cummins are expected to be in contention for the man of the match award. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur are also likely to be in the running.
Who will be the best batsman for Kolkata Knight Riders?
Although he’s yet to truly take off in the colours of purple and gold, Shreyas Iyer is slowly finding his feet with KKR. He has looked in good touch over the last few matches and will be looking to convert his strong starts in to a big score.
Who will be the best batsman for Delhi Capitals?
Prithvi Shaw is one of those players who can decide a match in the powerplay itself. Shaw has an excellent IPL strike rate of over 146 and will be looking for a longer stay at the crease. He smacked 61 off 34 against LSG in the last game.
