Match Prediction – MR vs BH, 37th Match BBL 2021/22 – Who Will Win Today’s Match?
Melbourne Renegades take on Brisbane Heat in match number 37 of this Big Bash League (BBL) 2021-22. The Simonds Stadium in Geelong will be the venue for this game.
Melbourne Renegades won their first game by two runs against Adelaide Strikers but they then lost five games in a row and were lying low at the bottom of the points table. However, they had their game against Sydney Sixers washed out before they beat Melbourne Stars pretty convincingly to lift to the sixth spot on the points table. Thus, they will be looking to build on their last win and have a late flourish.
On the other hand, Brisbane Heat have three wins and five losses so far. This will be the second successive game in as many days for the Brisbane Heat. Their game against Sydney Sixers was postponed by a day due to COVID-19 cases and in less than 24 hours, they will play this encounter. Hence, this could be a chance for them to gather momentum and get on a roll, threatening to enter the top few spots.
As far as the head to head record is concerned, Brisbane Heat have won just six games while Melbourne Renegades have returned with 10 wins. However, Brisbane Heat have won each of the last three games between these two sides.

Who will win today’s match Melbourne Renegades vs Brisbane Heat, 37
th
Match BBL 2021/22??
Melbourne Renegades have relied heavily on a few players to get the job done. The batting hasn’t really turned up but every time Aaron Finch has fired, they seem to be in a better place with the bat. Mackenzie Harvey is the other batter who has fared decently and has a couple of half-centuries. But apart from that, there hasn’t been anything of note.
The bowling is dependent on Kane Richardson to get the bulk of the wickets. International recruits Reece Topley and Zahir Khan have done well too. Mohammad Nabi’s form with both bat and ball is a huge concern as the Afghan all-rounder just hasn’t turned up.
Meanwhile, Brisbane Heat’s batting hasn’t been any better either. Only Ben Duckett (2) and Chris Lynn (1) have recorded half-centuries in this BBL season so far and overall, the batting has been a huge let-down. However, the bowling has been pretty decent. Three bowlers have picked up 10+ wickets – James Bazley (11), Mark Steketee (10) and Xavier Bartlett (11).
Thus, with two vulnerable sides and batting line-ups, there may not be any clear favourites heading into this game. But with Brisbane Heat players returning positive COVID-19 tests, their squad could be rejigged and hence, the Melbourne Renegades may have a bit of an advantage.
Game changers for Melbourne Renegades v Brisbane Heat, 37th Match 2021/22

Aaron Finch has got two half-centuries in four innings and he will be the key for the Melbourne Renegades.
Who will be the best batsman for Brisbane Heat?
Chris Lynn has got starts throughout this tournament but a big score could well be around the corner for him.
