Virat Kohli shocked the world by announcing his decision to relinquish the RCB captaincy in the middle of IPL 2021. Faf du Plessis, who was roped in during the IPL 2022 mega auction has been named as the new captain of the franchise. Royal Challengers Bangalore will also be without their star performer and loyal servant AB De Villiers.
