The Royals do not lack hard-hitters who can change the course of the match at a moment’s notice. The acquisition of Yuzvendra Chahal for INR 6.5 CR was one of the best deals in the auction this time around! However, the absence of a game-changing all-rounder might end up hurting Rajasthan Royals over the course of the season.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have strengthened their middle-order which was an obvious chink in the armour for them in IPL 2021. However, the loss of Rashid Khan could prove to be a huge concern for the team. Rashid is one of the best T20 bowlers in the world and SRH haven’t been able to replace him well in the auction. Fitness issues of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan could also hamper the pace-bowling unit.
For Rajasthan Royals all eyes will be on their batting unit comprising stars like Devdutt Padikkal, Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer, Rassie van der Dussen and Sanju Samson. Yuzvendra Chahal will also be a player to watch out for. However, the absence of a world-class all-rounder might hurt the side’s balance.
