Adelaide Strikers are two steps away from completing a dream campaign. They have managed a spectacular turnaround in the second half of the campaign. At one point, they had been struggling at the bottom of the table but Strikers went on to mount a streak of six consecutive wins and are just a game away from the final of BBL11.
After beating Hobart Hurricanes in the Eliminator, a revamped Adelaide Strikers side faced Sydney Thunder in the knockout game. Ian Cockbain played a sensational knock and changed the game around for Adelaide Strikers who got enough runs on the board. Sydney Thunder needed just 14 runs to win off the final over but Strikers kept their nerves and ended up sealing a 6-run victory. They will be going into this game with plenty of confidence!
