While they already have a brilliant player base, they added to it some outstanding players this year. Mitchell Starc makes a return to the league with the Sixers while they also brought in Jason Holder, Dan Christian and Carlos Brathwaite to strengthen the all-round quality. The Sydney Sixers have the best chances of winning the season according to our predictions.
The Stars boast of a plethora of batting quality and have increased their bowling depth for the season. With key players such as Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran available for a lot of the season, the Melbourne Stars are good enough to win the title this time. They were finalists in the last two seasons and could go one step further this time.
The Renegades have terrific quality in the line up this season and are boosted by the availability of Aaron Finch throughout the season. Rilee Rossouw, Imran Tahir, Shaun Marsh and James Pattinson are excellent recruits. The Melbourne Renegades are third in our prediction list to win the title.
